# Minare

> Minare is a family of apps and a website for Islamic prayer times. minare.app shows today's prayer times, a countdown to the next prayer, the monthly timetable (imsakiye), the qibla and the Hijri date for every city in the world and every province and district of Turkey, in Turkish and English. Times are computed with the same engine as the Minare apps; Turkey uses the Diyanet method.

Page text is Turkish first, English second. All website pages are free and public. The JSON API and the MCP server need an API key: sign in with a passkey at https://minare.app/en/sign-in (no password; a Minare Qur'an account works too), then create keys in the developer dashboard at https://minare.app/en/developers/dashboard. The Trial plan is free; plans: https://minare.app/en/developers#plans.
